This workshop is going to teach you about your 2nd house, how to identify the planet that rules it and give you instructions for building a relationship with that planet in order to improve your financial situation.
A 2.5 hour workshop on the 2nd house in astrology
The 2nd house in the natal chart is about your resources. It describes your money, your physical assets, tangible possessions and the values that reinforce how you relate to money and how money relates to you.
This workshop is a deep dive into the 2nd house and the planet that rules it. During our time together I will teach you how to identify, connect with, please and support the planet that rules your 2nd house so you can have an easier time making and managing money. Some of the suggestions will be unusual, spiritual or ritualistic. And some of them will be practical. But if you do both the mystical and the mundane, you can improve your financial well-being.
Be aware: the 2nd house is one of the four dark houses, so the subject matter of that house is difficult for you to perceive. It can be hard to talk about. Often involves pain points. Is laced with doubt, confusion and questions of self-worth.
And yet, of all the dark houses, the 2nd house is the most essential to your financial well-being. So in order to be financially well, you have to engage with the worries it contains.
The planet that rules your 2nd house is the planet you bring all of these qualms and questions to. It’s the planet you get money help from, whether or not you like who that planet is (it’s easier if you learn to like them).
Workshop Plan
For those who don't already know, we'll start by identifying the planet that rules the 2nd house. I'll also introduce my special framework for relating to that planet in a way that effectively supports your financial well-being.
I'll talk about how that planet orients toward money - each of the 7 traditional planets has different styles, talents, techniques and approaches for earning, spending, and exchanging.
I'll teach you how to discern what resources that planet has in your chart because that will tell you what resources you naturally have available to you. You’re going to use those resources to invest in yourself and grow your financial skills, capacity, agility and more resources.
We'll also cover how to identify where that planet is getting and spending resources on your behalf. In other words, we're going to identify the kinds of things you can do and where in your life you can do them, to make money.
How to start building a healthy relationship with the planet that makes you money. This section of the workshop will include prompts for greeting your 2nd house ruler and learning to communicate with them about your financial wellness.
Finally, we'll talk about what each planet likes in the form of offerings and actions so you can collaborate with and support your 2nd house ruler to grow and take care of your resources.

This workshop is designed to be beginner friendly. That said, it will be really helpful if you are able to plug your birth information into an online calculator so you can view your birth-chart. You can do this for free at astro-seek.com. I'll walk you through the rest.
I’m a professional astrologer. Is this workshop too beginner for me?
That depends on your particular professional background...
Most Astrology Professionals who haven't spent a ton of time with the 2nd house will get something out of this class. Practitioners whose work is rooted in Traditional Hellenistic fundamentals will be familiar with some technical aspects of this workshop. Practitioners without Traditional* Astrology education will definitely learn something new. If you are a professional who is looking for support with your money, this workshop will offer specific ritual suggestions that you won't find anywhere else. It will also give you strong a framework for designing your own practices to support your 2nd house. Advanced practitioners who already have had years of astro-magical study may find this interesting and helpful but likely not world-changing.

Will there be time for Q&A?
Yes, if you come to the live workshop, you will be able to ask questions as we work through the material. While I may answer some questions about personal chart placements, I will prioritize questions that benefit the learning of all participants.
